Taiwan’s development of its first quantum-classical hybrid computing platform faces delays due to a legislative budget impasse. Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) proposed a US$345M budget for 2026, which has not yet entered legislative review, putting several flagship projects—including quantum computing infrastructure—at risk.
