DOE Fermilab and Qblox Finalize Agreement to Commercialize QICK Platform

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Fermilab and Qblox have finalized a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to commercialize the QICK Platform. This open-source quantum control and readout technology, already serving approximately 500 users across labs, universities, and industry, will now see scaled U.S. manufacturing and distribution. Qblox will lead commercialization efforts while also launching dedicated workforce training programs. Fermilab continues to drive scientific advancements in the core platform.
