Australian Signals Directorate Publishes Post-Quantum Questions to Evaluate Third-Party Vendor Readiness
The Australian Signals Directorate has published a practical set of vendor-neutral questions that organisations can use to evaluate third-party readiness for post-quantum cryptography. The guidance maps to the LATICE framework and addresses cryptographic inventories, data-lifetime risks, hybrid transition modes and concrete product roadmaps. It is intended for use in procurement, contract renewals and ongoing assurance activities. Organisations are encouraged to scale the questions according to risk and to engage suppliers early so that vendor timelines support the recommended end-2030 transition from traditional asymmetric algorithms.
