SoftBank and Partners Launch NEDO Quantum Materials Platform
SoftBank Corp. and five Japanese partners announced on October 28, 2026 that NEDO selected their joint proposal for a quantum-computing-based materials development platform. The three-year effort (fiscal 2026–2028) combines quantum calculations with AI to address limits in discovering materials for batteries, optics, and superconductors.
