(Nasdaq: BTQ) (CBOE CA: BTQ) provided its second-quarter 2026 corporate update on August 14, 2026, detailing continued progress from technology validation toward commercial execution across its four core business lines: QCIM, QPerfect, Quantum Secure Systems & Networks (QSSN), Bitcoin Quantum.

The company completed its acquisition of QPerfect, expanded commercial engagements, advanced QSSN toward potential production deployment, and brought Bitcoin Quantum mining and hosting infrastructure to mainnet readiness while ending the quarter with a cash balance of C$9,729,250 (approximately US$7.1 million).

QPerfect Emulation and Digital Twin Development

QPerfect forms a central component of BTQ’s Quantum Accelerated Networks layer. As of Q2, its commercial pipeline included approximately 16 organizations across five countries spanning enterprise customers, quantum computing providers, research institutions, and government-supported programs. The commercial strategy centers on three primary product lines: MIMIQ™, Digital Twin, and Quantum Logic Unit (QLU™).

MIMIQ, QPerfect’s quantum emulation platform, advanced a multi-channel strategy that includes enterprise software, on-premises deployments, Quantum Computing-as-a-Service distribution, and international expansion. A major milestone was the launch of MIMIQ On-Premises, enabling operation within local computing environments for organizations with security, confidentiality, or data-sovereignty requirements. Collaboration with SDT Inc. is now in production in South Korea through the QUREKA platform, while additional distribution channels include qBraid and Scaleway. Through the France 2030 Export program, market-development activities are targeted for Saudi Arabia in summer 2026 and Vietnam in fall 2026.

QPerfect continued development work with the University of Strasbourg and the Centre Européen de Sciences Quantiques (CESQ) around the aQCess neutral-atom quantum computing initiative. The project includes development of a hardware-accurate Digital Twin of France’s first publicly accessible neutral-atom quantum platform using MIMIQ, with a target of testing against actual quantum hardware by the end of 2026. The Quantum Logic Unit remains earlier-stage; QPerfect has filed two patents, completed a prototype, and is targeting an April 2027 design blueprint for implementing One-Shot Signatures on future fault-tolerant neutral-atom systems, with a first QLU release by the end of 2027.

Commercial Pipeline Expansion and Deployment Progress

QSSN progressed toward commercial deployment as trust infrastructure for regulated digital money and institutional settlement. During the quarter it was selected as a core post-quantum technology provider for one of South Korea’s first bank-led KRW stablecoin proof-of-concept initiatives involving iM Bank and Finger, and surpassed 100,000 transactions processed on mainnet. Early U.S. customer engagements were established and discussions advanced with major blockchain foundations and the Kaia ecosystem.

Bitcoin Quantum completed an internal security audit of its core protocol, engaged Boosty Labs to conduct an external security audit, shipped four releases, and brought mining and hosting infrastructure to mainnet readiness. BTQ is targeting a late 2026 go-to-market launch and is advancing institutional infrastructure around market making and custody for a wrapped asset.

QCIM continued productization of its crypto-agile, side-channel-secure architecture. Preliminary internal benchmarks show 2–3x cycle/gate improvement on ML-KEM-1024, 3x on AES-256-CTR, and 14x on SHA3-256 versus optimized Cortex-M4 implementations, with demonstrated resistance in 1-million-trace TVLA testing of AES-128 with masking on FPGA hardware. FPGA IP Beta release is expected imminently; ASIC IP and initial standalone samples are targeted for Q1 2027. Subsequent to quarter end, BTQ and ICTK completed design of a next-generation security chip integrating QCIM with VIA PUF™ technology, while BTQ and ITRI validated the QCIM core in a TSMC 28-nanometre design environment for cryptographic operations associated with FIPS 203, 204 and 205. Dr. Michael Grace joined to lead a new QCIM Platform Security initiative.

BTQ enters the second half of 2026 focused on expanding MIMIQ distribution and enterprise adoption, converting QSSN engagements into production deployments, completing Bitcoin Quantum external security validation and launch preparation, and advancing QCIM toward silicon validation and commercial design-ins across defense, industrial, automotive, IoT, and related sectors.
