Multi-Core Diamond Architecture

The SAXON Q platform uses a multi-core architecture in which a proprietary multi-core quantum operating system coordinates computation across multiple quantum processing cores. According to the company, the SXQ128 provides eight locally entangled qubits per core while the SXQ512 provides 16 per core; the headline 128- and 512-qubit figures represent aggregate counts across modular cores rather than a single fully entangled register. 

Both units are modular by design, allowing organizations to begin with the SXQ128 and expand capacity by upgrading the diamond chip or adding cores. Nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond supply optically controllable spin qubits that function under ambient conditions. 

The systems eliminate cryogenic infrastructure while still relying on standard photonics and microwave control hardware.

Commercial Availability and Expansion

Each SAXON Q quantum system is custom built and configured to individual requirements. The SXQ128 is available to order now, with delivery within three months of order placement. The SXQ512 is available to order, with deliveries beginning in Q2 2027. The modular architecture is intended to provide a flexible entry point that can scale with organizational needs.
